Churchill Gardens Primary Academy

Governance

Churchill Gardens Primary Academy is sponsored by Future Academies, a multi-academy trust founded by Lord and Lady Nash with the aim of broadening horizons for young people across the country. Core to Future’s vision is the belief that, with the right support, encouragement and opportunities, there are no limits to what students can achieve.

A MAT plays a number of roles in the life of an academy, setting its direction, working with the leadership team to ensure that it provides the best learning environment for the students, and leading the Governing Body. The MAT is responsible for fostering progress in all areas of the academy’s operation, promoting value for money and good use of public funds, and championing the academy in the wider community.

Governing Body

Future Academies is a charity regulated by the Department for Education and a company limited by guarantee 6543442. Future Academies’ registered address is Pimlico Academy, Lupus Street, London, SW1V 3AT, England.

Joining us

Outstanding local governance is vital to the success of Future Academies. Our local governing bodies carry much of the responsibility for overseeing the performance and educational offer our academies provide.

Being a governor is a voluntary position and we are incredibly grateful to the highly skilled group of people who commit their time and expertise to our academies.

At the heart of our ethos is the aspiration that children are enabled to be socially mobile through a knowledge-led approach to curriculum planning and delivery, as well as a broad and wide-ranging educational enrichment programme.

If you share our aspirations for our young people and want to become a governor, we would be delighted to hear from you.
